Kessel Winces at his Performance

The Boston Bruins made a strong case for playing on home turf with their 7-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, after losing (an embarrassing spectacle) less than 24 hours earlier in Canada. The TD Garden was jam-packed with over 17,000 fans Saturday night- ready to cheer their team to victory and boo returning former Bruins player, Phil Kessel, for all it was worth. The game was feisty- with hat throwing, fights breaking out at every turn, and some nice pucks in the net.

The beginning...

My senior year in high school, I traveled to the Hashemite Kingdom of Amman, Jordan through a Project Harmony student exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State and the United Palestinian Appeal in Washington D.C.

The Media Efficiency and Democracy In Action (MEDIA) Program was implemented to encourage communication between American adolescents and Palestinian/Jordanian teenagers. "Overcoming Stereotypes" became one of the main themes of the trip, as everyone involved with the program was challenged to rise above religious and cultural differences.
