BU Crushes the Big Green- All Teams Overcome the Weather

Battle on the water, despite the April showers- or whatever they were. With less than ideal conditions, the boys fought off the white caps and pushed through the tough last 1000 meters...Boston University clinched the title for the 4th year in a row. Next year, the same three teams will rondez-vous in New Jersey where everyone agrees, the temps will be warmer. But hey, doesn't matter. Crew is not for the weak of heart.

The beginning...

My senior year in high school, I traveled to the Hashemite Kingdom of Amman, Jordan through a Project Harmony student exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State and the United Palestinian Appeal in Washington D.C.

The Media Efficiency and Democracy In Action (MEDIA) Program was implemented to encourage communication between American adolescents and Palestinian/Jordanian teenagers. "Overcoming Stereotypes" became one of the main themes of the trip, as everyone involved with the program was challenged to rise above religious and cultural differences.
