Woman on the Rise

TIME magazine reports this week that women earn 57% college degrees in the US. They make 75% of buying decisions in the home. Domination.

The beginning...

My senior year in high school, I traveled to the Hashemite Kingdom of Amman, Jordan through a Project Harmony student exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State and the United Palestinian Appeal in Washington D.C.

The Media Efficiency and Democracy In Action (MEDIA) Program was implemented to encourage communication between American adolescents and Palestinian/Jordanian teenagers. "Overcoming Stereotypes" became one of the main themes of the trip, as everyone involved with the program was challenged to rise above religious and cultural differences.
